The future is clean
I am Lubica and in my work I support governments, institutions and businesses on the way to accelerate the green and sustainable (energy) transition to protect our planet for future generations.

In my role as a manager at EY I work with highly motivated and delivering teams on local and European level to bring together the technical, legislative and regulatory measures and solutions that will help governments and businesses switch to the decarbonized energy systems. The end goal is helping the clients to reach the net zero targets and to create new environment we can all thrive in.
I started my career in the Power & Utilities sector back in January 2016, when I joined the RWE subsidiary in Slovakia, firstly as the Board affairs specialist. The role focused on direct support to the german Board of Directors responsible for the Slovak, Croatian and Slovenian business branch, cooperation with C-level managers and business leaders. Later I moved into the corporate development department and as the strategic projects manager focused together with the team on the business development via mergers and acquisitions (yearly budget app. 10 mil EUR).
Among my responsibilities belonged also the need to secure financial support at the group level for innovative sales projects for the local subsidiary (received support of 1.6 mil EUR in 2019). In my role, I represented the B2B business in the group-wide sales directors meetings focused on developing innovative E+ solutions together with another 14 B2B sales managers and directors.
Later on I was a part of the local project management team preparing the merger with the biggest market competitor.
After 4 years I moved into the consultancy sector, and began as a senior consultant at EY Czech republic and Slovakia in January 2020. Here I have been working on projects concerning transposition of the European energy legislation into national laws; IT projects concerning new data systems for the energy market in Slovakia, acting as a project manager with focus on risks prevention, communication and effective collaboration to deliver the highest quality outcomes for the clients. I also act as an expert on selected areas of electricity market regulation, sustainability, decarbonisation and ESG.

Before entering the P&U sector, I worked in the non-governmental sector. Together with a friend, I co-founded a non-profit organisation focused on education and development of young people interested in public policy and policy making, diplomacy and politics. The YPE's Academy of good politics worked with more than 150 young people over the course of 6 years, providing extra-curricular practical education and internships to help young people make positive impact on the society.
Education-wise I hold a Masters degree in European studies and political science from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. As part of my studies I was awarded a scholarship at the Alberts-Ludwig Universität in Freiburg, Germany and Masaryk University in Brno, Czech republic.
Usually, I enjoy working independently but also with various teams and I stand for open communication, quality and effective cooperation because the best results are always achieved when there is an open atmosphere of sharing and brainstorming inside the teams.
